Dear Esteemed NYSCMA Inc. Members,

I hope this note finds you well as Mother Nature showers us with snow, ice and cold.   We can look past this first season of the year to the warmer weather of spring and our Fifth Annual Sales & Marketing Joint Conference and 96th Annual NYSCMA, Inc. Sales Conference.

On behalf of the NYSCMA, Inc. Officers and Directors, I am pleased to announce the 2012 conference will be held in the Historic Gaffer District of beautiful downtown Corning, NY.  The conference is scheduled to begin Sunday, June 10^th and end Tuesday at Noon, June 12^th.

As our industry continues to change, Circulation Executives need to be up to date on the latest technology and new ways to create partnerships, both inside and outside their newspapers.  We have put together an energetic program and a forum rich in resources that will give you many opportunities to enhance your knowledge and improve your network of circulation resources.

The business program is strong and will be kicked off with a panel of innovative managers from The Leader of Corning, NY. Other hot topic presentations will include Developing New Revenue Opportunities, a Breakout session on Coupon promotion, Extreme couponing, and Value of the Newspaper to our subscribers (Featuring CNY’s own Extreme Couponer, Lauren Greutman).  We will also have Roundtables featuring the latest Promotions, Customer Service initiatives and on Tuesday, a Retailer presentation by John McDougal, Chairman & CEO, Nice n Easy Grocery Shoppes.

We’ll be kicking off this year’s conference with the Presidents’ Reception, held Sunday evening at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art, where East meets West among these dynamic collections of Western and Native American Art.
